Charter by which Henry Gylebronde of Congulton and Cicilia his wife concede to Alexander Lathum mayor of Congulton, a parcel of one burgage lying in Congulton between a burgage formerly John Benet’s of the one part and a parcel of one burgage formerly Henry Barker’s of the other part; and also one burgage lying between the burgage of John Spensir on the one part and the burgage of Robert Walker’s of the other part; to hold the same to the said Alexander Lathum and his successors mayors and all burgesses and of all the commoners (villanis) of the same town of Congulton forever etc.
These being witnesses:- Alexander Lathum then Mayor of Congulton., Hugh Hadfelds then bailiff of the same town, John Spensir, Hugh Grene, John Honkynson, Hugh Grene draper, Hugh Moreton, and others. Dated at Congulton on the feast of St Dunstan the bishop, 27 Henry VI [19 May 1449].
