Charter by which Richard del Grenewal and Richard Benet give, concede, and by this charter confirm to Philip del Grene, the half of one burgage in the town of Congulton near the cross, situated between the burgage of Thomas Rywyn on the one part and the burgage of Thomas Chelle of the other part; to have and to hold etc. to the said Philip and his heirs for ever.
Witnesses: Robert del Yate then mayor of Congelton, William Conessen bailiff, Hugh de Lathum, William de Moreton. Richard del Yate, John Chelle, Randle de Somerford, Hugh the clerk, and many others.
Date at Congleton the Saturday next before the feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle, 3 Henry 1V [23 January 1402].
